The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is hoping to save the life of trying to save the life of a Filipino on death row in Qatar charged with espionage.
Last year, April 11, a filipino citizen was put to death for the same charge. Two others working as technicians at a Qatari military base were given life in prison for the same offense.
The Foreign Affairs Department says, their relatives have been informed and the Philippine Embassy in Qatar is already extending legal assistance to the three Filipinos. —ANC World Tonight, May 24, 2014
