23 year old Fatima had boiling water poured on her after two months of being in Riyadh.  The picture you see here was posted on Facebook and ignited a lot of attention from other filipinos online.  After the Saudi woman through the boiling water on her, it took them 6 hours to take her to the hospital.

Fatima was beaten up within five days of her arrival by her male employer and was sometimes deprived of food.

I was in Kuwait from 2012 – 2013, I highly discourage ANY and ALL filipinas to go to the middle east.  If you have another alternative, then take it.  There are a lot of things like this that happen to asian women in the middle east that is not reported, ignored or hidden from the public.  When I was in the country, I heard of rapes, blackmail, slavery and blatant exploitation of filipinas from filipinas that had been there.

I will be honest and say, this does NOT happen to all or even most filipinas in the middle east, but its a LOT.  Its just not a safe place for filipino women.  Not safe for women at all.

While I do not think that Islam teaches people to do such things, I do believe that there are some followers of the faith that set a poor example of how muslims should
