I just want to share my experience of receiving a package from the Philippines (Cebu) to the U.S. (Colorado).  I originally wanted to have my sister send me a package via LBC, but they would not send the stuff I wanted.  LBC will only allowed items with a receipt :(.

There are some items that I want that are not available in the United States.  So I asked my sister to send me things like: deodorant (the brand I want), fat burners and face cream.  I am aware that sending packages to ph or abroad does not guarantee any safe arrival at all. But I am also positive that the only way to absolutely know it is if I try it myself hoping that this may work. I really did not have the choice because many of the products here in the United States are just not suited for my skin needs. So its worth trying once. If it ever wont work then I know I will not waste my time again.

My sister went to multiple mail courier including LBC, Fedex and mail and more but none of them allow the item like the fat burner for sending abroad. Those are private and safer way of sending mails and packages abroad. My only last choice was the government Philpost office (phlpost.gov.ph). I told my sister to try and ask if they allow the items that needs to be sent. They said those were allowed. I was so relieved. The package arrived safely. The charge was per kilo (2.2 pounds).

1 Kilo P 1579.00  –   $ 33.60

Yes! the package has arrived safely but when I read the policy in the cover of the package below is what it said.

philippine post office

They do not hold any liability if the item gets loss, damage or non delivery due to improper packaging, incorrect address and if it is confiscated by DEMS. I dont know what that is but most of the reasons are supposedly a responsibility of them to secure the package. To ensure that it is packed correctly. To ensure that the items meet their guidelines and have been  been inspected by them before accepting the items.  Base on my understanding, if your package is lost while its on its way to the United States it means they are not accountable for it. They have an office that says you can file for claim but base on the statement it means it does not guarantee anything. It is very disappointing. Nevertheless, I am still glad that it arrived. It is not impossible to receive your package from the PhilPost but at least you know the consequence and you now what to expect if it does not arrived. It means your money is gone. Below is the video of my package.
